CURRENT PROJECTS AND UPDATES
These are the writings I am currently working on that I intend to publish in the future. Watch this page for updates on how these are going and expected publishing dates!
The Veil
The Veil is my baby. I started writing it in 1981 and finished it in 2015. It is the first of a 3 novella inspirational-romance series. It did not start out that way, but over the years, it has grown into this.

Katherine Palmer has felt she was never inspired to do anything with her life. Everyone around her was making plans and asking her what her future plans were and she had no idea. Upon the advice of her priest, she went to Saint Francis's Convent to seek guidance and advice from Mother Assumpta. Katherine never returned home and became Sister Katherine.

Six years later and upon taking her final vows, Mother Superior and Mother Assumpta encourage Sister Katherine to return home to make sure she has chosen what God has intended for her. Feeling like she did when she was a teenager, Sister Katherine has to finally figure out what God has called her to do. Is she strong enough to accept His answer? Is she able to accept what God has truly called her to do?
The Piano
In book 2 in the novella inspirational romance series, we follow Jane Anderson, whose love of the piano grew when a foster mom taught her to play the piano. With the support and help of her husband, David, and mother-in-law, she follows her dream. While following her dream, she loses sight of what was happening with David.
Divorced with two teenage kids and an ex-husband, who refuses to talk to her, she finds herself still questioning what went wrong in her marriage and how she could have done things differently. Jane still is in love with David, desires companionship and meets Jerome. He is an older, divorced man with grown children and he is ready to settle down again. Out of the blue, David starts communicating with Jane again. Is he talking to her out of jealousy of Jerome? Does he really want to have a good relationship with her again?
On a night out with Jerome, Jane learns a secret that David has hidden from her. Confronting David, will he finally be honest with her or will it drive him farther away?
The Hidden
A story about faith, friendship, and forgiveness. A man who has lost his mom, his job, and about to lose his father finds it hard to believe in G-d anymore. He finds renewal in his faith and a lifelong friendship in the unlikeliest of places.
A Reason For Me
Elaine Ponds has always lived her life to make others happy. Becoming a teacher was her mom's idea. Being engaged to the handsome, predictable Jeff Messer, while it was her idea, she felt it would make her family happy. She adopted the motto "structure makes you more productive" because it was Jeff's way of iving an she wanted to make him happy. In the midst of making everyone else happy, Elaine has become unhappy.
Then enters Franco Rossi. He is a live in the moment type of guy who is living the life that Elaine always imagined for herself. When not running a restaurant with his brothers, Franco is involved in helping the needy of the community - something Elaine used to enjoy doing with her father.
The closer the wedding comes, the more miserable she becomes. The wedding is falling apart from the wrong colors being ordered to her dress getting switched. Nothing is happening like Elaine envisioned and so she tries to take on the attitude "Whether I get dressed in the most gorgeous gown or blue jeans. The clothing isn’t what matters, right?”
Feeling an attraction to Franco, is she just desiring a new life? Can she have the life she has always envisioned with Jeff? Is Gd trying to wake up Elaine before it is too late? There has to be a reason all of this is happening now.
BEHIND THE CRESCENT TATTOO
A coming-of-age novel by Susan Gibbons
Lucille Harper lived in the rural Bible belt in southern Illinois in a strict Christian home until she was 16 in 1957. At that time, her father got transferred to grow a church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was quite the culture shock.
Finding a friend across the road and trying to let go of her reputation in Illinois, Lucy does the unexpected and find herself unwed and pregnant. The only answer to this dilemma is to marry the father of her child. Still unsure of who she is, she tries her best to commit to this new role as a teen wife and mother to a man she's not sure she even loves.
