In Liverpool, England, a young boy dreamt of a girl. In these dreams, he believed she was leaving him clues on how to find her. Was she a guardian angel? Not knowing if she was real or not, he fell in love with her. He never forgot her. As an adult, he leaves England determined to follow the clues and figure out who this girl is and find out what she wants.
In Ohio, Asia Princeton created a make-believe family in her mirror and connecting with the "son" who she named Elliot. She poured out her troubles to him. As she became older, she gave up her make-believe friend and never gave him another thought, until her older, autistic brother, Luke, reminds her.
The unique circumstances that pull Elliot and Asia together bring to light that each other is more than they ever could have imagined or dreamed.
